Nicotine pouches are small microfiber pouches containing nicotine powder, flavorings, and other ingredients. Users place them between their lip and gum, allowing the nicotine to be absorbed without the need for spitting. These pouches are disposable.

Marketed as a smokeless tobacco product, nicotine pouches are similar to moist snuff and snus. They come in a variety of flavors, such as cinnamon, citrus, and mint - which, along with targeted marketing from major tobacco companies, make them especially appealing to young people.

The U.S Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not approved nicotine pouches as a smoking cessation aid.
