What We Do
T2U promotes tobacco-free living among Connecticut's LGBTQIA+ community by sharing information and resources that:
- Prevent the initiation of smoking, vaping, and other tobacco use among the LGBTQIA+ community; and
- Support LGBTQIA+ youth, young adults, and adults on their quit journey by linking them to free and confidential quit services in Connecticut.
The Coalition:
Raises awareness about the many risks associated with tobacco use and vaping
Sheds light on the tobacco and vaping industry's tactics to market their products more aggressively to the LGBTQIA+ community than the non-LGBTQIA+ community (click the image for more information)
Promotes healthy alternatives to tobacco use and vaping for handling stress or other difficult feelings and situations
Connects individuals to quit services and resources
